Douse in Athens Ala." and "molestation in their person and property". Includes his response to these charges and a summary of the findings of the court. Two notes from J.B. Turchin regarding troop movements. Topographical maps of Becherd and Tullahoma, Tenn.

Samuel and William write of camp life and William writes a detailed letter of the battle where his brother died and his death. He writes from Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and of Forrest's guerrillas, and his experience as a clerk in the General Court Martial in Columbus, Ky. in 1864.
