Biographical / Historical

In 1847 Reverend M. Warshaw was appointed to organize a Reformed Presbyterian Church in Monmouth Ill. The first meeting was held Sept. 14, 1847 with the first members in attendance and an election for ruling elders was held with William Hogue and John Paul being elected. The first minister was Rev. James S. Scott.
