Copies of general orders and letters of Brigadier General T.E. Ransom. Some family information. Sketches done after the war. All captioned, signed and dated by Ransom.

Biographical / Historical

From Edgewood, Ill. served in the 11th Illinois Infantry, Co. E as Sgt. and 2nd Lieutenant. Brother of General Thomas Edwin Ransom of the 17th Army Corps who died in the war.
