Biographical / Historical
Mill and lumber company in Elkhorn Grove, Carroll County, Illinois, founded by Henry "Harry" Smith and Sample M. Jurney. Both men also served as county commissioners and in other public posts in Carroll County. Smith died in Denver, Colorado in 1882. Jurney moved to Oregon, where he died in 1870.
