Receipts for payment while acting as executor for the deceased, J.B. Jewell of Louisville, Ky. Answer to a complaint regarding the will of James D. Breckenridge, for whom Speed acted as executor, from Lucy Breckenridge, the wife of the deceased. Involved an agreement between Daniel Dous and Breckenridge re: property and slaves. Speed supported Dous' claim. Copy of agreement between Dous and Breckenridge. Receipt, 1841, for payment by James Adams for money owed to John Todd, received by Speed acting for Todd.
