Biographical / Historical
The Forest Citys Base Ball Club was a Rockford, IL, based amateur and professional baseball team started in 1865 by local businessmen. The Forest Citys played their only year as a professional team in the inaugural year of the National Association of Professional Base Ball Players league. The club disbanded after the end of the 1871 season.
