Biographical / Historical

Adin Baber was born in 1892, and during his lifetime he was a surveyor, cattleman, landholder, banker and historian who lived in Kansas, Illinois. His grandmother, Mary Ellen Hanks (1844-1924), was a grandniece of Nancy Hanks, the mother of Abraham Lincoln. He died in 1974.
