Abstract Family of Servetus M. Thorpe, a political leader and veteran of the Mexican-American War. Many of Servetus's children and grandchildren became doctors. Servetus's grandson, Leon G. Myers, was a teacher, principal, and superintendent in Clinton, Illinois. Servetus's great-grandson-in-law, Gale Corley, served as a Major in World War II.
