Abstract
Anna Risse worked in the Illinois governor's office from the 1930s to the 1970s, serving as stenographer or secretary for governors Louis Emmerson, Henry Horner, Dwight Green, and Adlai Stevenson II. The collection contains letters and greeting cards written to and from Risse, many of them from Ambassador William Blair and Governor Stevenson. The collection also contains newspaper clippings and photographs.
