Overview Farmer from Yellowhead Township, Kankakee County, IL who served in Company H, 76th Illinois Infantry during the Civil War. He was born in Canada. He came to Illinois and in 1849 he and Sophronia Joyner were married. They had two sons, Azel and Frank.
